It has been determined that Kalitta is the sole provider of Engine JT9D-7J on-wing testing per Boeing 747 Aircraft Maintenance Manual 71-00-00 beginning on page 501, "Power Plant - Adjustment/Test," Test 14 - Replacement Engine Test, Test 8 - Engine Vane Control (EVC) Trim, Test 9 - Fuel Control Trim and equipment to support Test 11- Vibration Survey.
The test cylinders as listed in the Boeing aircraft cylinder assembly Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) will be utilized to test the pressure regulator valves associated with the KC-46 evacuation slide/raft overhaul maintenance process in support of the 402d Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG) at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
