The maintenance plan should include internal/external annual inspections, annual safety valve replacement and recertification, and certified welding repair for as-needed R-1 welding repairs for a base and option(s) contract. Company MUST have below certifications to be considered capable: a. Factory Certified to work on Cleaver-Brooks Nebraska boilers. b. Certified welders (R1 Stamp) for required weld repairs c.
The new boilers shall have sufficient turn down range to accommodate efficient operation during the low demand periods and yet fully support campus demand for high-quality, high pressure steam.
The packaged boiler will be connected to the existing natural gas line. The boiler shall be on site and functional until May 20th 2022. The contractor is responsible for delivery, start up, decommissioning and removal of the boiler. The contractor is also responsible for all pertinent Government maintenance personnel training. The existing chemical treatment station can be used for the temporary boiler.
