The Omaha Airport Authority issued a Request for Proposals For Bond Underwriting Services on Thursday, April 18, 2024 The Omaha Airport Authority is seeking responses from firms with qualifying experience in bond underwriting to assist the airport in issuing general airport revenue bonds during the Terminal Modernization Program at Eppley Airfield.

Treasury listing of companies holding Certificates of Authority as acceptable sureties on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies. Any excess between the face amount of the bond and the underwriting limitation of the bonding company shall be protected by reinsurance provided by an acceptable reinsuring company.
(c) Each bond shall clearly state the rate of premium and the total amount of premium charged. The current power of attorney for the person who signs for the surety company must be attached to the bond. The effective date of the power of attorney shall not precede the date ofthe bond. The effective date of the bond shall be on or pfter the execution date or the contract.
Treasury Circular Number 570, published annually in the Federal Register, lists companies approved to act as sureties on bonds securing Government contracts, the maximum underwriting limits on each contract bonded, and the States in which the company is licensed to do business. Use of companies listed in this circular is mandatory. Copies of the circular may be downloaded on the U.S.
