No source other than Springer Nature provides the perpetual access and data rights for the complete inventory of Springer Nature electronic journals, journal backfiles, and electronic books that USDA requires.

The majority of requests are for scanned copies of journal articles, book chapters, conference papers, and other brief publications, however NLM also lends print copies of monographs, audiovisuals, and microforms to borrowing institutions located within the United States. Original materials that are loaned are shipped via commercial courier second day delivery.
