The County of Sonoma is soliciting bids for Safety Boots/Shoes. The County of Sonoma is required to provide safety/work boots to employees working in specific job classes. Authorized County Departments issue their own boot vouchers for their respective employees. Please find Attachment A -Sample Voucher which can be found in the attachment section of this bid.

Each employee is provided with an annual allowance for the purchase of safety boots/shoes. Our Human Resources Department provides employees with a voucher to purchase safety boots/shoes from an approved vendor. Special Notices Place eBid
(b) Purchase limits will be marked by authorized persons on vouchers before individuals make purchases. PRODUCT LIMITATION: Contractor shall not allow individuals purchasing safety shoes under this contract to purchase safety shoes that do not have a heel, that are in the style of a cowboy boot or have camouflaging on the boots.

City employees will be issued a voucher for the purchase of one pair of safety boots or shoes. The voucher will be limited to $150.00. If the actual cost of the boot is below the voucher limit of $150.00, then the amount invoiced the City will be the actual cost of the boot, not the voucher amount.
