This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a brand name award for the purchase and install of six (6) Jig Bore machines equipped with FANUC 30-H Pro Controllers with iHMI interface. This award for brand name controllers is the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition of the jig bore interface.
