Bids will be received for this Project, which includes the following: The Work to be performed under the Contract for Project No. 43-24-03 consists of removing a mainline bridge, embankment construction and replacing with roadway on grade, repairing bridge superstructure components, including: bridge deck replacement, replacing bridge deck joints; rehabilitating bearing devices; substructure repairs; sealing of construction joints; slope repairs;

(See appendix A for photos) The desired replacement includes new base decking material (beam or otherwise) to replace the current sub decking on the bridge running across the bridge deck (horizontally). Additionally, a second thinner layer to be run with the travel direction of bridge (vertically) is desired to be easily removed and replaced as needed due to wear and tear from usage, maintenance and plowing.
