Native deciduous trees (Primarily elm and cottonwood) with a DBH (Diameter at Breast Height) of over 18” will be excluded from mastication along the boundary. All Cedars must be masticated at ground level all green branches must be removed from every tree stump to prevent regrowth of the tree. Masticated material must be evenly distributed and does not average more than 2-6” in depth on the ground.

Description of Services: Specification includes mastication/chipping of target vegetation within project boundaries. The objective is to rid the identified tracts of small diameter woody vegetation and Eastern Red Cedar (ERC). The objective will be accomplished by machine masticating the following target vegetation: All woody vegetation with a diameter breast height (DBH) of 6" and less with the exception of ERC (see below ERC requirements).
