This Call to Artists is the second phase of the Traffic Control Box Art Wrap Project in Sunrise. In October 2020 a total of twenty nine (29) artworks were installed on traffic control boxes in the center portion of the City of Sunrise. Unlike the current project, the first phase did not have a specific theme.
The Cultural Arts Commission aspires to secure additional funding for future endeavors, potentially collaborating with artists not selected for this project, but whose work made a mark. The theme for this project is “Cultivating Community”. The design will be in the style and medium best determined by the artist but must integrate the front, back, sides, and top of the box to safely capture the interest of those that drive, ride, and walk by.
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to install and maintain the Integrated Electronic Security System (IESS) to BDAACH as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS).
