This project includes the concrete repair to the weir box slab and walls and the installation of the sacrificial splash pad to reduce future deterioration.
To accommodate the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requirements for embedment in the stream channel, each section of the box will need to be constructed in two pieces to facilitate placing 1-foot of material inside the box culvert prior to installing the top slab. The box culvert needs to be a solid double barrel culvert with a wall in the center. Each section of the box will need to be set as two separate pieces.
For Lift Station 10M, work consists of electrical and control improvements; valve box top slab and piping/valve replacement; wet well improvements, including replacement of top slab, replacement of the existing riser pipes, guide rails, brackets and pumps; site work.
