The Large Size Meter Replacement scope of work inlcudes the replacement of large size water meters as well as new vault and vault lid installations. The required disinfection system equipment will be located primarily within the Basement of Building 8 with remote exterior precast concrete vaults connecting to the (2) branch potable water feeds to the campus. The vaults will be installed on top of timber piles and will house injection and chlorine monitoring equipment. The work also includes asbestos abatement. The Estimated Cost for this work is: $1,500,000 to $1,800,000.
