Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Starboard Industries for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the Jesse Brown VAMC Security System. The security system equipment is manufactured by Avigilon. Starboard Industries is an authorized vendor of Avigilon Equipment. A full description of the equipment is provided in the spreadsheet below.

Requirement The VA Great Lakes Health Care System, Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 12, Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, 820 S. Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60612 is seeking to purchase multiple laparoscopes. The Jesse Brown VAMC is currently using Stryker s PINPOINT laparoscopes with Stryker s high-definition endoscopic camera system. The facility requires a second set per a Sterile Processing Service mandate.

Use an infra-red scanning camera to detect hot spots in the Electrical Power Distribution System under normal loading conditions to indicate loose connections, insufficient contact pressures and excessive loading. Objective of this work is to detect any loose, broken, or corroded connections in the system.

Contractor will provide fliers with registration instructions for employees and Veterans that will include language for those attending live offerings to be prepared to turn their camera on to create better communication and engagement with participants and assess participants pace, form, alignment, and safety as applicable.
