The intent of 1700000 Transportation is to specify the requirements for a bus transportation program consisting of vehicle and equipment operations to include dispatch, people movements, operator licensing and training, inspection and certification, and specified administrative program management.
SCOPE: It is the intent of this formal Request for Proposals (RFP) to receive proposals from qualified Prospective Proponents to operate a Transit Vehicle and Bus Shelter Advertising program to generate non farebox revenue for the RTC. This program is separate from existing and contemplated Naming Rights and Sponsorship programs for RTC’s Bike Share System, GoMed Program, and other assets.
This program is separate from existing transit vehicle and bus stop shelter advertising concession programs and is expected to be complementary and additive to the advertising programs. GSA Vehicle Purchasing acquires an estimated 50,000 new model year, non-tactical vehicles for Federal Executive Agencies and the Department of Defense (DOD) annually. Prospective offerors must meet the minimum requirements as cited in 2020 Federal Vehicle Standard 833P.
