Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with VLogic Systems for Capital Assets and Facilities Management (CAFM) systems for the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL. This system will function in within the existing VA Capital Asset Inventory (CAI) system.
Projects managed by SUPD range in scope from designing secured collections storage and processing facilities, to renovating and updating training centers and commercial office environments. This contract shall provide the full range of Computer Aided (CAD), Building Information modeling (BIM) and Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software and technical support services along with facility site surveying and auditing services.
The requested contract action will provide IT support and maintenance for the Contractor Administrative- Budget and Financial Management (CAFM) system, Contractor Administrative-Budget and Financial Management II (CAFMII) system, and Contractor Reporting of Operational and Workload Data (CROWD) system.CAFM, CAFMII, and CROWD are custom-built computer programs developed on a software platform called M204.
