Contractor agrees to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, parts and incidentals necessary to perform routine elevator inspections, adjustments, testing, emergency call services, and other preventative maintenance activities at the Caldecott Tunnel in Alameda County. This a rebid of IFB 04A5256. The budget allocated for this contract is 40797.00
Contractor agrees to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, parts and incidentals necessary to perform routine elevator inspections, adjustments, testing, emergency call services, and other preventative maintenance activities at the Caldecott Tunnel in Alameda County. This is a two year service agreement. C11 Elevator Contractor license is required. A payment bond for 100% of the contract amount is required at time of award.

Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, supplies, vehicles, equipment, travel and incidentals necessary to perform maintenance, repair and/or replacement of security cameras and associated equipment at the Devil¿s Slide Tunnel (DST), Caldecott Tunnel, Posey & Webster Tubes and Battery Tunnel (Doyle Drive).

The City’s Public Works and Engineering Services Department maintains approximately 92 miles of public right-of-way as well as five two-lane bridges in a semi-rural community with 31 miles of creeks.
