, as needed, construction projects design & construction independent cost estimating and constructability review services to support Valley Water’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) under the general direction of the Construction Contracts and Support Unit.

The Lake County Department of Facilities Development and Management is responsible for the design, construction, and facility maintenance of over 121 County owned buildings and over 21 leased spaces. Owned facilities are as small as 248 square feet up to 289,580 square feet. Our largest lease space is approximately 14,000 square feet.

Qualified firms shall provide professional services on an “on-call” basis for projects to be determined during the contract term.

For each on-call service request, the consultant and the City will agree upon the specific scope of work and cost for that project. The City has the right to retain other consulting firms in its sole discretion when the City believes there will be an economic or other significant advantage for doing so. Services for each contract will be provided on a negotiated fee basis, per work order.
