Canaveral Harbor Maintenance Dredging, 41, 42 And 43-Foot Project, Brevard County, FloridaCanaveral Harbor maintenance dredging will require removal of shoal material from identified dredging areas. Project work will be split between base and four options. A portion of the dredge material will be evaluated for disposal into the Nearshore Disposal Area.
Option B includes dredging shoal material from the Canaveral Harbor T.A.C. STA. 4+84.42 to T.T.B. STA. 15+00 at the 41-foot plus 1-foot allowable overdepth. Option C includes dredging shoal material from the Canaveral Harbor CUT-2 STA. 182+00 to CUT-3 Sta. 215.00 at the 44-foot plus 1-foot allowable overdepth.
Canaveral Harbor maintenance dredging will require removal of shoal material from identified dredging areas shown on the plans. Shoal material removed from the sediment trap and between Stations 150+00 Station 182+24 of Cut-2 will be placed in the nearshore placement area. Material removed from all other dredging areas will be placed in the ODMDS.
