The County of Riverside Purchasing, on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Patrol Division, is seeking competitive bids for car washing and detailing services for law enforcement vehicles as detailed in this RFQ.
Law enforcement vehicles including emergency response vehicles equipped with antenna and light bars, requiring car washing services include sedans, full-size SUVs, pickup trucks, and full-size passenger vans. 2.3 The car wash and detailing facility must accommodate all vehicles within a 5-mile radius of a Patrol station. For this bid, the Riverside Sheriff's Office estimates 9,700 automatic car washes per year.
SPECIFICATIONS/SCOPE OF WORK Car wash and detailing services for all County automobiles, vans and light trucks (up to and including one (1) ton), totaling approximately 1000 vehicles annually. Services will be requested by the County staff on an as needed, when needed basis. No formal authorization is needed to perform the basic Car-Wash service.
