Brandon Regional Health Centre Critical Care Addition - TP-3 Remaining Works Project Description :A four story 79,868 sq. ft (7,420 sq.m) addition to the north side of the existing BRHC containing a new 16 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the ground floor, a new 30 bed Inpatient Unit (IPU) on the second floor, a mechanical and electrical plant on the third floor, and shell space, for a future Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the fourth floor
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project shall build a 8,600 BGSF to building 55 for Women's health and Primary Care clinics and renovate 13,500 BGSF of adjoining space that is designated as Primary Care, Mental Health, and Radiology space. This will create PACT compliant space in the new addition as well as provide Primary Care - Mental Health integration.

The original project involved the provision of approximately 18,500 gross square feet for a new Front Lobby and Primary Care Addition on the property of the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System. This project design was carried through to final construction documents. After the final documents were delivered, the primary care addition was descoped from this project and moved to a standalone, phase II of the original project.
