On or about November 18, 2022, the US Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE), Job Corps Acquisition Services (JCAS) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal, (RFP), for Academic and Career Technical Training for the South Bronx and Brooklyn Job Corps Centers. The RFP will be posted as unrestricted.
This effort requires the contractor to operate the Centennial Job Corps Center, which includes provision of academic instruction, career technical training, career success and independent living skills instruction, career readiness training, and support services for a total planned On-board Strength (OBS) of 241 students. This total number of students consists of 230 residential and 11 non-residential students.
The Department of Labor (DOL), on behalf of the Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Job Corps (OJC), has a requirement for Career Technical Training services and support for Heavy Construction in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods.
