Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) intends to negotiate on a Sole Source basis (IAW FAR 13), with TSI Inc, 500 Cardigan Road, Shoreview, MN, 55126, as the only responsible source that is capable of providing TSI Portacount calibration services for 23 Portacounts used at the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP), Anniston, AL.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency request proposals from qualified sources capable of an interactive, intuitive, web-based, cloud-hosted, mapping solution that supports the training delivery at the Center for Domestic Preparedness located in Anniston, Alabama. All terms, conditions, requirements, clauses and provisions herein shall apply to this combined synopsis/solicitation.All offerors shall submit a quote for all the following.
For planning purposes for interested contractors, a non-mandatory pre-award site visit at the Center for Domestic Preparedness, Anniston, AL is anticipated on July 11, 2018. More details will be included in the RFP. Anticipate proposals being due on or about August 15, 2018.
The Center for Domestic Preparedness is a national training facility located in Anniston, Alabama, that prepares state and local emergency response personnel to respond to all hazards, including terrorist attacks using weapons of mass destruction by providing advanced, hands on training.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency intends to negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR Part 13, with Vector Laboratories, 30 Ingold Road, Burlingame, CA, 94010 as the only responsible source that can provide Ricin A Chain to the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP), in Anniston, AL.
