Work to be completed prior to miter gate removal includes the fabrication of one set of replacement anchor bars and pins for use at the lower left miter gate anchorage, fabrication of special “turning feet” to facilitate miter gate laydown, fabrication and installation of miter gate lifting and laydown lugs, and temporary alterations of the miter gate walkway and bulkhead plate at the top of the gates.
