This Phase 1 Abatement and Demolition work is being done in preparation for a complete building renovation scheduled to begin in 2023. The Central Hall area-of-work contains approximately 41,000 gross square feet. The original building was constructed in 1950 as the new campus Library. In 1967 Central underwent a major renovation changing the building use into classrooms and offices. Central has remained substantially unchanged since 1967.
