This project consists of expanding the Bee Ridge WRF from a 12.0 million gallon per day (MGD) to an 18.0 MGD facility. In addition, the treatment process, currently producing effluent which meets Advanced Secondary Treatment for Public Access Reuse, will be upgraded to Advanced Wastewater Treatment (AWT). One of the Sarasota County Commission’s highest initiatives is improving water quality.
