The City of Oxnard is requesting proposals from experienced consulting firms to conduct a Feasibility Study (“Study”) with viable mitigation measures to improve the water quality in the Channel Islands Harbor (“Harbor”). The Study will include as part of the Scope of Services development of an ImplementationPlan with cost estimates for the viable strategies. These strategies will be prioritized and include potential funding sources.

Added: Jul 02, 2018 5:44 pm Project consists of biennial maintenance dredging of the Channel Islands Harbor federal navigation channel and sand trap, and maintenance dredging of Port Hueneme Harbor as needed. Majority of the dredge material is to be placed on Hueneme Beach located south of Port Hueneme Entrance Channel, approximately 2 miles from the Channel Islands Harbor sand trap.
