Description: Description:The City intends to engage the services of a certified contractor to replace the chiller at 255 W. Deerpath in The City of Lake Forest, Illinois. The project consists of replacing the existing chiller with a new chiller, insulation of existing piping, and replacement of pneumatic control valves.
Additional work to be included as alternates includes chiller replacement, chiller relocation, and HW pipe insulation replacement. Bids will be received for single prime bid contracts. Plans and specifications are available to Prime Bidders by contacting McKim & Creed via e-mail to Allison Jurgens at ajurgens@mckimcreed.com beginning on November 22, 2022.

Remove 120 ton MultiStack® air cooled chiller and provide new Trane® air cooled chiller with new exterior chilled water piping as well as new isolation valves, new insulation with aluminum shielding. Existing chiller pad’s dimensions are 21 feet 7 inches long x 7 feet wide.
