The project generally consists pavement rehabilitation ( 3 layer Treatment system consisting of Type II Slurry (top), asphalt rubber chip (middle), Type II micro (bottom)), grind and replace HMA, base failure repair, utility adjustment, curb extensions, curb ramps, restriping roadway, and sign replacement. The base bid will include work on Rose Drive between McAllister and Primrose. Bid Alt 1 will include work on East 2 nd Street from Hillcrest to Rose. Bid Alt 2 will include work on Park Road at Sulphur Creek Springs bridge. The project will improve six (6) pedestrian crossings citywide. The work to be done consists in general of installing concrete curbs, gutters, curb ramps, roadway signs, pedestrian activated beacons, striping and pavement markings. This Request for Qualifications is being made available to entities who are qualified to perform the entire scope of services as described in the RFQ.

ESCALON AVENUE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING PROJECT The project consists of removal of existing concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk and installing two (2) ADA compliant curb ramps and a concrete median island with ADA compliant path crossing Escalon Avenue. The project also includes micro-surface seal and restriping the south project limits, upgrading a second crossing north of the median island, and additional pedestrian safety signage.
