James City County is soliciting sealed competitive bids from qualified and experienced professional contractors licensed in the state of Virginia with the demonstrated capability and capacity for Clara Byrd Baker Elementary School Safe Routes To School project as described in this Invitation for Bids.
The Work under this Project consists of the following : The scope of work consists of renovating all existing restrooms in the facility. Plumbing work includes, but is not limited to, replacing toilets, urinals, lavatories, and sinks. Architectural work includes, but is not limited to, removing and salvaging toilet accessories, painting, and re-installing salvaged toilet accessories. Two additive alternates contemplate (1) replacing ceramic floor tile and wainscot in gang restrooms, and (2) replacing drop-in classroom sinks that have built-in water fountain bubblers.
