The City of Yellowknife seeks to enter into a contract with a qualified organization or business to provide a Downtown clean up Service for the period of June 1, 2024 to September 15, 2024. The successful proponent will provide a Downtown clean up service, which will consist of work such as litter clean up, pressure washing infrastructure and emptying a large garbage bin.
Clean-Up Approach: Within two business days of being contacted by City staff, the selected contractor shall meet with City staff at the identified site. City staff and contractor will jointly review the site conditions, volume of garbage, site access, limits, clean-up standards, potential requirements (traffic control, loading zone, etc.) and number of employees and days needed for clean-up.
