If VTC equipment does not exist, proposals must include equipment and installation of such, however as options. ● Audio Teleconferencing Codec (ATC) unit exists in the rooms, however upgrade of components of the system for remote audio communications may be required. ● Ceiling Microphones shall be installed to pick up participant speech in the large conference rooms.
This contract will be in support of audio and video equipment located in approx. 100 OBO conference rooms both large and small, and a series of office laser printers and plotters.Equipment consists of video displays of various sizes, network switches, playback speakers, ceiling microphone and speakers, a codec unit, amplifier units, master control units, HD cameras, a video wall, etc.
The suite shall include a wall-mounted codec control unit to ensure the codec can be controlled by the staff in urgent situations.The equipment shall support wired and wireless content sharing, and be Wi-Fi capable. The system shall be a Defense Health Agency (DHA) approved device. The system shall be compatible with the DHA's Virtual Network Center's video conferencing requirement and compatible with Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
The proposed work would allow the already established audio/visual equipment to be integrated with the updated Cisco Codec Plus and quad camera. DESCRIPTION: To install Office of Information & Technology (OIT) Cisco Codec Plus and quad camera equipment that will replace existing older Cisco Units. The Cisco Codec Plus and quad camera are being supplied by the Government.
