construction of the South Expansion Area Cell SE-4B and Leachate Collection System at the Waterloo Landfill in Waterloo, Ontario.
The works will include, but not be limited to, supply and installation of a new landfill gas collection system along the west side of the Waterloo Landfill Site, including landfill gas collection header pipe (400 mm diameter, 700 m long; and 300 mm diameter, 280 m long), condensate traps, valve chambers, new air compressor system, connections to existing leachate control manholes, and temporary access road.
The work at the Waterloo Landfill Site comprises the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials necessary for the cleaning (flushing) of the Leachate Collection System (LCS), and power washing and vacuuming of five leachate pump stations. Video inspection of the LCS is a provisional item.
