In spite of the initial pro-active and early planning, the net result of the personnel shortfalls and pandemic response impacts have significantly delayed ACC/A3AR in supplying AMIC with a complete requirements package, jeopardizing the planned contract action schedule and risking a lapse in training services.

The current training system is a system of systems that has enabled Combat Air Forces live training since 2005. The system is facing increasing obsolescence and end of life challenges, which necessitate a fully fielded replacement no later than 2030.
