RFP Release Update: DTRA plans to release the Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) IDIQ Request for Proposal by the end of May 2022.
“DRAFT” HDTRA1-CWMD-IDIQ-DRAFT-RFP, “Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Research and Development Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ)”The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) invites Offerors interested in the Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) effort entitled “Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction Research and Development” to submit comments and questions regarding the first DRAFT RFP.
This requirement will be handled through the procedures established in the Broad Other Transaction Authority Announcement (BOTAA) Supporting Other Transaction Authority Agreements for Prototype Development Efforts for the JPEO CBRND - Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (“JPEO-CBRND CWMD BOTAA-24-01”). Please review the BOTAA announcement and submission requirements in full prior to submitting a Pre-Proposal.
If a solicitation is subsequently released based on the responses to this RFI the first choice for an acquisition vehicle, if appropriate, will be the Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA).

DTRA COMBATING WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION (CWMD) RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IDIQ DRAFT RFP AND VIRTUAL INDUSTRY DAY 2The Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s Research and Development (RD) Directorate will host a virtual Industry Day for the CWMD IDIQ to discuss this requirement and the Draft RFP being released with this announcement.
