The California Military Department (CMD) is seeking quotes to provide commercial satellite bandwidth services, a hosted private branch exchange (PBX), a hosted Wowza video server and hosted Palo Alto (PAN) PA-500 security firewall for the CMD's Emergency Ground Mobile Incident Commander¿s Command, Control and Communications Units (IC4Us). The services shall be performed for the CMD at 9800 Goethe Road, Sacramento, CA 95826.
The contractor will be required to provide High-speed, Ku-Band, commercial satellite (COMSATCOM) airtime (bandwidth) compatible with existing COMSATCOM equipment installed on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutters as well as contingency communications assets. To include access for USCG-provided Multi-Protocol, Labeled-Switching (MPLS) routers to interface the contractor's satellite service with the USCG's unclassified private IP network (CGONE).
