NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCEThe Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Competitive Range Solutions, LLC (CRS) for Commercial Satellite Communications Engineering, Acquisition, and Programmatic Services (COMSATCOM) of the Defense Information Service Network (DISN) support services.A sole source Justification & Approval (J&A) document

The contractor will be required to provide High-speed, Ku-Band, commercial satellite (COMSATCOM) airtime (bandwidth) compatible with existing COMSATCOM equipment installed on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutters as well as contingency communications assets. To include access for USCG-provided Multi-Protocol, Labeled-Switching (MPLS) routers to interface the contractor's satellite service with the USCG's unclassified private IP network (CGONE).
