Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program Office (PMA-242) intends to award a sole source follow-on IDIQ contract to FN Herstal, S.A, Herstal, Belgium for the procurement of GAU-21 .50 caliber machine guns and required ancillary support equipment. This procurement is for up to 140 units per year, with 700 units across 5 years.The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
