The Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) has identified the need to provide community-based care services in a proposed community that includes support services to all Children and families that support safety, permanency, and well-being of Children in its legal conservatorship.
Commerce has budgeted $2 million of Climate Commitment Act Funds for a community-based participation program. Successful applicants will engage in local comprehensive planning processes occurring within cities and counties as a result of funding support. Most of DDDS’s services are funded through a Medicaid Home and Community-Based authority. DDDS has continuously operated a 1915 (c) Home and Community Based waiver since 1987.
