COVID-19 Community Healthy Equity Response The Boston Public Health Commission is committed to protecting, preserving, and promoting the health and well-being of all Boston residents. To best serve its residents, BPHC is committed to advancing health equity through effective, coordinated, and efficient community engagement.
VDH is partnering with the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to pilot a Health Equity and Community Design Technical Assistance (TA) Pilot. The TA Pilot will provide extra capacity and resources to communities to develop healthy community design and placemaking plans and ideas, that center on equity.
Marin County Public Health (MCPH) has contingent funding up to $750,000 per year/ $150,000 per each of the 5 “health equity zones” to advance the work of the Community Resiliency Teams (CRT). These teams were developed in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, but have since evolved to support broader public health priorities.
