The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) has established the Male Community Reentry Program (MCRP). The MCRP provides or arranges, at a minimum linkage to a range of community-based, rehabilitative services that assist with substance use disorders, mental health care, medical care, employment, education, housing, family reunification, and social support.

The purpose of these programs is to assist individuals by providing programs, services, and interventions to enhance and support a safe reentry into the community, while also removing or reducing barriers to their successful reentry.
The overall objective of this RFI is to gather data and information on providers (Respondents) who have operational facilities that meet defined requirements used in a transitional, residential program for offenders nearing release from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) institutions and correctional community facilities.
