The Office of Administration (OA) has identified a need for workers’ compensation defense counsel to defend workers’ compensation claims filed by employees against Commonwealth agencies. The defense of claims includes practice before workers’ compensation judges, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board and appellate courts.

Description: The City of Winston-Salem, NC is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for Workers Compensation Defense Counsel to provide legal defense in workers’ compensation cases and related matters. Having significant experience in handling workers’ compensation cases in North Carolina and who will be proactive in resolving the City’s workers’ compensation litigation will be a priority in the evaluation process.
