This is the only scheduled opportunity to view the interior and/or the roof of the buildings prior to awarding the contract.Bidders shall note that the Compressor Building & FMIP Building 8 are in a state of disrepair and that not all areas may be accessible for inspection due to safety concerns.
These cables feed the Compressor Buildings at the Eisenhower and Snell Lock locations. The Contractor must also repair the existing 13.8KV installation at Eisenhower Lock for the downstream vault to stop the water infiltration.

This project will remove and replace the existing three (3) air compressors and add a fourth (4th) new air compressor, new compressed air piping, mechanical louver and damper modifications in the existing compressor building, structural modifications, and electrical/instrumentation improvements and modifications in the existing compressor building and mechanical building.
