The City of DeSoto is inviting participation in this Request for Proposals (RFP) from a qualified vendor to operate the Moseley Pool Concession Stand (“Concession Stand”). For the purpose of this RFP and the anticipated Agreement, "City" means the City of DeSoto, and "Services" means all concessionaire and other professional services necessary to operate the Concession Stand in accordance with this RFP.

The City reserves the right to contract with other companies to provide additional food service, specifically food service outside of the Level 2 Food Service range of items served by the concession stand. This includes food trucks. Food trucks may not sell any of same items in the Level 2 Food Service range of items, nor will they be allowed to sell alcoholic beverages.
This beverage contract grants exclusive beverage serving and advertising rights to Pepsi Beverage Co. within our school vending machine, food service, and concession stand operations. Since the beverage contract generates substantial annual revenue from beverage sales on school campuses, the contract also requires Pepsi to share that revenue with the district at predetermined amounts and rates over the life of the contract.
