INVITATION TO RFP NO. 20-69-3150 The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified firms until 2:00 P.M., (Local Time) June 25, 2020 for the following: To provide pavement condition ratings for various County roads on a per/mile cost rate, with a minimum of 300 hundred miles per year, beginning in 2020, and extended for up to three years if desired by the County.

Tumwater intends to hire a qualified Consultant who is capable of determining the pavement condition index (PCI) rating using standard methods as described in the MTC PCI Distress Identification Manuals (AC 4th Ed./PCC 3rd Ed. March 2016) and can enter data into and create budget scenarios using the MTC Street Saver® software.

Like other original campus buildings, the facility is in poor physical condition.  Through facility condition assessments, the condition of Building 101 Complex has been documented to be among the worst on the Gaithersburg Campus with a Facility Condition Index rating of “Poor” – the lowest rating on the scale.  B.

Primary goals of the project include updated pavement condition index of airfield pavements, pavement condition ratings, roughness and skid resistance of runway pavements, and a capital improvement plan. The selected Respondent is expected to provide a pavement rating analysis with an overall condition index (OCI) for each paved roadway segment, as more fully detailed in the Scope of Services section of this RFP (“Services”) This RFP provides a general description of services anticipated, submittal requirements, outlines selection criteria and the selection process.
