Added:Oct 17, 2019 1:33 pm USNS RAPPAHANNOCK has a requirement to perform a system inspection, groom and demonstration of L-3 HENSCHEL Engine Room Control Console in support of the FY 2020 SMART Inspection.
This procurement is for services to trouble shoot stern tube bearing temperature RTD intermittent and erratic temperature indications at the engine room console aboard the USNS John Lenthall in Souda Bau, Greece.
The main engines shall be able to be started, stopped,clutched in/out, change revolutions per minute (RPM) from the console in the crewcompartment and at the local engine control panel in the engine compartment. Analogstyle gauges shall be used at the console for the coxswain. The engineering station inthe crew compartment shall have a MTU Blue Vision Display.
Special Terms and Conditions: Bidders shall bid the “Boat”, “Equipment”, “Engine”, “Trailer”, “Other Electronics” and the “Contractor Requirements” as a single, turn-key “package”.
(L3-TANO), for the servicing of USNS YUKON’s (T-AO 202) TANO ENGINE ROOM CONTROL CONSOLE. L3 is the sole source OEM service and parts provider for the TANO ENGINE ROOM CONTROL CONSOLE installed on the Military Sealift Command’s T-AKE Class of ships. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
