The University of Houston System (“Owner”) is soliciting Qualifications (as defined below) for the selection of a Construction Manager at Risk (“CMaR”) for the Parking Garage #5 (the “Project”) on the campus of the University of Houston. This is the first step of the two-step process, the second step being a Request for Proposals (RFP). 1.2 Project Site.
The scope of the project includes the construction of a 32’ x 64’ pole building, framing, installation of metal siding and roof panels, concrete floor, insulation, interior wall finishes with FRP and metal, installation of garage & man doors, installation of windows and other building appurtenances. When bidding, bid amount should be in dollars and cents-----no fractions of a cent will be accepted.
