RFP/PSA number: 25233012 RFP Holders Status: AWARD PENDING Project: Hazardous Materials & Contaminated Sites- Term Agreement Description: DOT&PF is seeking consultants with expertise in testing and evaluating contaminated sites including developing sampling and analysis plans, site assessments, site characterization reports, and developing options and recommendations for removal, disposal, and remediation of contaminated sites for design and construction
Work may involve characterization and/or remediation of sites contaminated with hazardous, toxic, and radiological waste; munitions and explosives of concern, and munitions constituents.
The Environmental Services and Contaminated Sites Management (ESCSM) Branch of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement for Contaminated Sites Risk Assessment and Risk Management Services in British Columbia and Yukon Territory. This is a non-personal service(s) contract to provide Remediation Engineering Support to include, but not limited to, the following services: Program review, Emergency Spill Response, Initial Contaminated Site Survey and Assessment, Site Characterization, Site Remediation Design, Site Remediation Activities, Site Closure Report Preparation, Risk Assessment, Groundwater Monitoring.

Further site characterization activities performed in summer 2022 identified and delineated PFAS-contaminated soils within the project’s construction footprint. In an effort to avoid soil contaminated with PFAS during construction, the DOT&PF is reducing the scope of the proposed improvements.
