The contract is currently in the 5th Option Year of 9 Option Years for Hosting and Maintenance services of the RRB's version of Momentum (FMIS). The RRB intends to negotiate with CGI and issue a modification to the above referenced contract for the Momentum (FMIS) software upgrade services.

The scope of the contract allows the NRC to acquire software licenses and support services for the NRC’s CGI Momentum®-based core financial system, known as its Financial Accounting and Integrated Management Information System (FAIMIS) and related systems. The ceiling increase is to continue ongoing support services for FAIMIS and related systems, since the original maximum value was inadequate for these purposes.
The purpose of this justification is to issue a non-competitive modification to NRC contract 31310023D0003 to increase the existing ceiling by $5,000,000 from $40,000,000 to $45,000,000.
