Placements will be made in contract nursing home facilities based on availability of facilities and the desires of the veterans and their respective families. The Government's intent for this Request for quote (RFQ), is to award multiple Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDQ)under authority 38 U.S.C. § 1720 for Nursing Home Services all eligible Veterans within the Department of VeteransAffairs in various counties within the State of Texas as the as the need arises.
This is a justification and approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition to establish a follow-on Community Nursing Home (CNH) contract to service Veteran patients of the Portland VA Health Care System.The awarded contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) consisting of a Three and one-half (3.5) year base ordering period with no option years for Period of Performance
