It seeks information from sources that can provide Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated Fuel Storage Facilities and fuel management services in the North Pole / Fairbanks Area, AK.  The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) - Energy - FESBB will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP/Solicitation) for Contractor Owned Contractor Operated (COCO) fuel storage services in the North Pole / Fairbanks Area, AK. The requirement is for fuel storage facilities and fuel management services to include receiving, storing, protecting and shipping JP-8 or Jet A-1 grade of U.S. Government owned petroleum products. 

Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy is the contracting activity for petroleum products and services for the Department of Defense (DoD). This Justification & Approval (J&A) is for an option extension for a FOUR YEAR (48 MONTH) period of performance, (April 1, 2022- March 31, 2026).

The Contractor is responsible for the technical, management, operation, maintenance, product quality surveillance, inventory control, security, and environmental protection of Contractor-Owned-Contractor-Operated (COCO) facility.

A minimum of two tanks interconnected to provide the capability of transfer of product between tanks.
