Prepare an infection control risk assessment in accordance with Infection Control Policies and Procedures of this VAMC for each portion of the existing facility that is impacted by the project. Revise the risk assessment until the VAMC concurs with the results of the risk assessment. Prepare a detailed infection control plan for the construction contractor to follow, based on the results of the risk assessment.
While the CDC tracks state smoking restrictions through the, CDC State Tobacco Activities Tracking and Evaluation (STATE) System, CDC lacks the capacity to track local tobacco control policies. This is a significant gap, since traditionally the strongest tobacco control policies have been implemented at the local level. This acquisition closes this gap by allowing CDC to track trends in local tobacco control policies nationwide.
